Modeling Process |
| | | DesignModeler |
| | Creating design models is a core part of the product development process and the first step of the simulation process. These models can be of a geometry form representing the actual design detail, or they can be an approximation of the design using simplified components like beams and plates.

| | BladeModeler |
| | ANSYS BladeModeler software is a specialized, easy-to-use tool for the rapid 3-D design of rotating machinery components. Incorporating ANSYS, Inc.'s extensive turbomachinery expertise into a user-friendly graphical environment, the software can design axial, mixed-flow and radial blade components in applications such as pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, turbines, expanders, turbochargers, inducers and others.

| | AI Environment |
| | Powerful pre- and post-processing tool with links to the industry's most robust solvers. A new generation solution for engineering analysts facing the most difficult simulation problems, the AI*Environment product combines ICEM CFD technology with ANSYS' simulation expertise to create a direct path from CAD to complete CAE pre- and post-processing. |
| | ICEM CFD |
| | From CAD to mesh generation for analysis, ANSYS ICEM CFD provides sophisticated geometry acquisition, mesh generation, mesh editing, a wide variety of solver outputs and post-processing. ANSYS ICEM CFD is the only Universal pre-processor for analysis including FEA, CFD and other CAE applications such as particle transport and computational electro-magnetics. Used for engineering applications such as computational fluid dynamics and structural analysis, ANSYS ICEM CFD's mesh generation tools offer the capability to parametrically create grids from geometry in multi-block structured, unstructured hexahedral, tetrahedral, hybrid grids consisting of hexahedral, tetrahedral, pyramidal and prismatic cells; and Cartesian grid formats combined with boundary conditions. ANSYS ICEM CFD is the swiss army knife of meshing, our product vision is to provide a variety of flexible tools that can generate "any" type of mesh on "any" type of geometry for "any" solver or "any" application. |

| | TurboGrid |
| | ANSYS TurboGrid provides designers of turbomachinery with a mesh creation tool to increase productivity and optimize design. By creating high quality hexahedral mesh using an automatically created customized mesh topology for the blade geometry being studied, it facilitates accurate and fast CFD analysis. It also includes full scripting for batch mode operation.

| | Mesh Morpher |
| | By working with a mesh and not the solid model, the ANSYS Mesh Morpher allows parameterization of models created from CAD data, nonparametric geometry data such as IGES or STEP, or mesh files such as the ANSYS .cdb file. Read a mesh into FE Modeler and then create an initial configuration to synthesize geometry from the existing mesh. |
| | FE Modeler |
| | FE Modeler now allows you to import and export ANSYS, ABAQUS, and NASTRAN data files. A Template facility is also available to customize exported data. In addition, the import capability allows material data to be shared between FE Modeler and Simulation via Engineering Data. |
